Fox Lake, IL – Early voting for the April 1, 2025, Consolidated Election begins today, March 17, providing Fox Lake residents with the opportunity to cast their votes ahead of Election Day. This election will shape the future of Fox Lake’s infrastructure, economic growth, and community development, making voter participation more important than ever.
Mayor Donny Schmit, Trustee Bernice Konwent, Planning Commission Chair David Gauger, and Trustee Jeff Jensen are running as a team to continue the progress made in revitalizing the community, improving roads, expanding parks, and maintaining strong financial stewardship.
Early Voting Details
Residents can vote early at any designated early voting site in Lake County. Locations and hours vary, so voters should plan accordingly.
Early Voting Period:
- March 7 – March 14 (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- March 17 – March 29 (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM; Closed Sundays)

- Grant Township Center – 26725 W. Molidor Rd., Ingleside
- Wauconda Township Office – 505 W. Bonner Rd., Wauconda
- Lake County Central Permit Facility – 500 W. Winchester Rd., Libertyville
- Ela Area Public Library – 275 Mohawk Trail, Lake Zurich
