Jeff Jensen: Committed to Fox Lake’s Growth and Prosperity

Jeff Jensen has been a proud lifelong resident of Fox Lake, calling it home for all 57 years of his life. As part of the third generation of his family to live in Fox Lake, Jeff has deep roots in the community. A graduate of Grant High School in 1995, he has shared his life with his wife, Heather, for 31 years, and they are blessed with two daughters who have inspired his active community involvement.

Community Engagement

Jeff’s dedication to Fox Lake extends far beyond his personal life. He has been a cheer dad and softball coach for six years with GTAAA and the Grant Jr. Bulldogs, supporting youth sports and activities. His involvement doesn’t stop there:

  • Volunteering for events like the Mayor’s Challenge.
  • Assisting with projects for the Community Garden.
  • Participating in Halloween Howl and various other Village events.

Jeff’s hands-on approach reflects his passion for building connections and fostering community spirit.

As a candidate for reelection, Jeff is committed to ensuring Fox Lake’s continued growth and success. His key priorities include:

  • Lakefront Property Development: Jeff sees immense potential in this area to enhance Fox Lake’s natural beauty and create recreational opportunities for residents and visitors. Thoughtful and strategic development will make this space a hub for community engagement.
  • Road Maintenance and Infrastructure Improvements: Recognizing the importance of safe and well-maintained roads, Jeff is dedicated to advocating for infrastructure projects that meet the needs of a growing community and improve the quality of life for residents.
  • Economic Development: Jeff understands the value of attracting both commercial and residential developments to boost Fox Lake’s economy. By collaborating with local businesses and developers, he aims to create job opportunities and expand the Village’s tax base, benefiting everyone.

Jeff believes that teamwork and open communication are essential to achieving the Village’s goals. Alongside fellow trustees Bernice Konwent, David Gauger, and Mayor Donny Schmit, Jeff is committed to listening to residents and working together to implement solutions that address the community’s needs.
